JOHANNESBURG – The City of Johannesburg is set to have a new mayor.
Residents are eagerly waiting to see who will be elected.
MMC for Finance Dada Morero is expected to be elected the new mayor unopposed at the City’s extraordinary council meeting on Friday.
This comes after incumbent Mayor Kabelo Gwamanda stepped down from the position amid mounting concerns from city residents and political parties over the metro’s service delivery failures.
